Is there an efficient way to enter meals you have frequently, but make modifications to account for slight differences?

I made myself a breakfast sandwich and entered the ingredients individually into my food diary. I want to save it since I eat this 2-3 times a week, but I already logged other items onto that meal as well, so saving it as a meal isn't accurate. Is there a way to edit a meal, or do I go in to my diary, delete the other stuff, save the meal and then re-enter the other stuff (fruit, coffee, etc.) OR, do I go into Recipes and re-enter all the ingredients and save it as a recipe?

Is there a way to save a Recipe from your diary without having to re-enter all the ingredients from your food list?

I wish there was a way to edit a saved meal to account for variations.

yes, when you have logged your meal click on quick tools then remeber meal. It will stay in the my meals tab then you can refind it and make alterations if you need to. You can put in your recipe and save it then if you need to change anything another time click on receipes find the meal you want and click on it to change what you need to or just ckick add to diary if nothing needs changing

If you remember a meal when you chose it you can take items off by clicking the little delete circle at the end of the food row

You may find it easier to copy the meal you wish to save to tomorrow (assuming you don't pre-log, if you DO then copy to the first day you haven't already logged food to) delete the "extras" and remember the meal that is just the items you want to make up that meal, then delete all the items. The remembered one will only have in it what was in the meal slot that you clicked quick tools > remember meal for

Thanks! I usually backtrack to April, before I started MFP when I want to "test" out a meal. It didn't occur to me to use that to save a meal. That's an excellent suggestion!
