Since you burn 100 calories pet hour just sitting sitting and watching TV, can it be counted as cardiovascular exercise? Can I add 360 calories burnt just watching TV for 3 hours?

Of course. You'd be cheating yourself otherwise.

Make sure you get a full accounting. Are you sitting up straight or laying so far back you're almost prone? Are you eating while watching, and if so, is it something like deep dish pizza or fried chicken that takes a bit of extra chewing? Are you holding a bottle of beer and is it cold? Are you getting up for bathroom breaks or just using your empty bottles?

Of course, for the most accurate results and fastest weight loss, you should always wear a HRM while watching tv.

This is the first post for this person. She may just be confused.

This would be included in the calories you are given by MFP if you put down you activity level as sedentary. You would just log any further activity.

Did watching television in the past help you lose weight? If not then.... 'Fugeda-bout-it'. It doesn't count.

I'd type out a reply, but my fingers are too bulky from all of the high-rep mass-building exercise I get from typing.
