One thing MFP has really done for me is make me look at everything I eat. I am kind of horrified at what I used to eat, and the mental gymnastics I used to do to tell myself it was OK. My best one was that the portions are so small here everyone orders more than the meal.

My regular Mcdonalds was:-

1 Large big mac meal
2 cheese burgers (occasionally would upgrade to double cheese burgers if I was really hungry)
1 Large diet coke
1 Apple pie

In the past I have even occasionally added an extra medium fries as well.........and I wondered how I became fat.

You know the size of a Dominos large pizza? Ya, one of those, allll to myself. Plus coke, garlic bread and those Belgian waffle thingies.

A bowl of chicken madras, side order of pilau rice, keema naan, poppadoms, lime pickle and two or three ice cold Stella's.

Now where's the harm in that ? :)

I used to eat a large dominos pizza with wedges and garlic bread all to myself! Hmmm yeah that might be why I am fat! I still have to monitor myself when I eat pizza to make sure I only have 2-3 slices cause I can get carried away!

So glad I am not the only one who used to do these things....I am especially guilty of all the meals so far.

Although remember this is a confessional booth......not Man V Food (food porn) or we're all going to go off the rails!

A huge 'made for sharing' bag of Doritos all to myself, with a tub of soured cream! :-) Or a six-pack of Wheat Crunchies or Skips, or both, eaten all at once. I can easily eat 12 bags of crisps at a time! I thought other people did that too, but they laughed when I told them I did it, so I'm guessing it's not normal! :-) I'd still do it again though, just not so often, and I'd eat half the bag of Doritos, and only three bags of Wheat Crunchies at a time!

I used to get a thing of double stuffed oreos and sit on my couch eating most of the package...milk in hand...omg that sounds so good right now!

Chocolate, lost count of how many bars after about the 6th.Must admit there are days where I still find it hard to stick to one.

My favorite thing was to make a box of Pasta Roni and eat it all to myself. My sister and I both did it. God that stuff is so good... I still eat it, but a serving size at a time now haha.

When I lived in France they had Cream of Onion chips that were delicious, I'd eat a whole bag of those one my own too. Or an entire bar of chocolate in one sitting.

Ok here goes. When I was pregnant (poor excuse but hey... cravings right?) I would eat a large pepperoni pizza with a tub of Ben & Jerrys Caramel Chew Chew spread on top embarassed

erm steak & chips / ribs &chips

I guess I never really considered meals in restaurants to have calories and if so not many...who knew steak and chips could have over 1000cals ! think thats were I've gone wrong, underestimated the calories.

Walkers crisps, 3 or 4 in one seating (small packets!)

I've never really liked Mcdonalds/Dominos etc, but on the rare occasion we did get Dominos i'd eat half a large pizza and maybe some wedges too.

Chocolate is more my thing! When I was pregnant I ate an entire large bag of Revels. Now I just avoid chocolate altogether!

We do, trust me - maybe not the people you told but we're out here.

That is the hardest thing for me to cut out. I love crisps - a 24 multi pack lasted 2 - 3 days at the max in my house and I live alone ;-?

yeah when i started doing mfp i was shocked at how much i ate. i used to say to myself why am i fat i dont eat more then other people.

well just my nightly snacks alone were probably what i eat all day now. 4 glasses milk (600 calories), chocolate candy bars (big size) and popcorn or chips - unlimited. i still have my popcorn, chips, chocolate and milk but limited quanties and not everyday.

September 23, 2012 10:41 am
a $4 bag of Lays potato chips and a Dr. Pepper.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies. If I made a batch of 24, the first batch of 12 would be gone before the second batch came out of the oven. Needless to say, I don't make them anymore.

Chocolate cake from cheesecake factory. One slice is over 1300 calories...and it was always my dessert after some other non nutritious food like fries and fried chicken.
