Currently, when you click on "Complete Entry" it provides a projection stating "If every day were like today... You'd weigh XXX.X lbs in 5 weeks". However it is not a permanent part of the diary. It disappears, leaving one to go back and click on the "Complete Entry" again. The problem is, when you do this it recalculates using the CURRENT WEIGHT and CURRENT GOALS - both of which have likely changed. When I change my goals and go back to old records it has retroactively replaced the old goals in the historical record, making it appear that I have missed my goals drastically and repeatedly. Both of these issues seem to be related to the fact that ALL calculations are using present day goals, weight etc, as opposed to using the data as of the date of the daily record. This causes an entire loss of my ability to track my progress against your program's predictions. Is that intentional? I hope not. I would like the ability to fine tune my fitness goals without losing the historical record... THIS SEEMS IMPORTANT, DOESN'T IT?

If you would allow the "If every day were like today... You'd weigh XXX.X lbs in 5 weeks" prediction to become part of that day's record, at least I would have a reference. My pie in the sky preference would be for that line to read as follows: "Based on your current weight of XXX.X lbs., You'd weigh XXX.X lbs in 5 weeks. and if this would become a static line that shows and PRINTS with each daily record, my life would be simpler.

Please consider this request, as it seems so useful and I believe it is a simple change to your code. Thanks.

I would love to see them add your suggestion!

However, I can suggest a workaround for the time being. As well as copying that statement to the notes for that day, you could do what I do when altering goals.

What I do is set the weight to my original starting weight when making the alterations, then after saving the changes I go to the weigh-in page and overwrite the weight with my current weight. Keeps all the past records intact, while doing everything you need.

It's a hassle, sure, but it's a useful workaround.

Very good suggestion. This bugs me too.

Also wish there was some way to change the "5 weeks" timeframe. Like if I wanted to see how much I would weigh in 8 weeks for example. It would be nice to be able to customize the timeframe.
