I would appreciate a version of the app on android that i could purchase to avoid the ads.

So would I! The ads are intrusive and because you allow coarse location in the app permissions, that means the ads are using location (and therefore battery power) to serve up ads. I would gladly pay for a version that disables ads!

I would also gladly pay for an ad-free ad version. I'd also happily shell out 10 or 20 bucks for a "donate" app version to support MFP.
