But by not hving a like button we actally have to interact with the other person and give some thought to what we type.

It doesn't have to be even a like button, but something similar.

Agree but sometimes its just nice to give an "agree" on a post rather than go into the whole long bit...maybe an agree button instead or a thumbs up?

But why? Because you are used to this feature on Facebook, or because you actually think it would be useful.
Perhaps I'm missing something here.... but surely, if you like something, then you like it. That's great, but why does the whole world have to know? I think that if you have something to add to a conversation, by all means add it. But, if you find something interesting but don't have anything extra to add, why not just move on? |

I agree!!! Also, if someone comments on someone else status maybe we could be notified about that aswell! I only get notifications if it's my status, I'm assuming its the same for everyone?? eg, if someone responds to me I never know about it unless I go back to it!

Because there are lots of times someone else has already said what I am thinking.... and often in a clearer way.... and I would LIKE to lend my support to their answer without having to repeat it ... gives it validity without clogging up the boards

Excellent idea. A "like" button or something along that line would be just perfect! So is this thread. I was just about to start one on this topic! :D

Agreed to the LIKE button and Agree to the notification if someone posts on your status. It's hard to go back and check every thread you have ever written on to find your messages (i use the app on my iPhone)

I agree. Sometimes when I read posts I actually get ready to 'like' comments, but then I'm like, oh wait...

Yes, please! A 'like' button would be awesome. I always keep thinking it's like facebook, since it looks a lot like it; and I go to 'like' something, before realizing that I cannot. xD That would be awesome if there was a 'like', though!

A like button that then subscribes you to the updates on the topic instead of people bumping things all the time to do the same thing.

I would like a like button for my friends pages. If they do something I like or whatever, but I don't have anything to say other than to let them know I like it. It's more as support for your friends

Everytime the app gets updated I hope it has the like button! But nooo. Still nothing
