So, usually we want out cakes to rise, but I like my sticky and delicious with no puffiness. Also, my usual recipes for cake cannot be done in my new microwave mini cake maker.

Hence the call for cake recipes that do not rise. I don't mind calories, I even HAVE to substitute stuff because we cannot get most of those fancy American grocery things here in Germany.

Anyone up for a challenge?

Any cake recipe should work, just do not add a leavening, as in baking soda or baking powder. Do not use cake flour as it already has this added into it. Use all purpose flour or healthier. Also mix just until ingredients are moist, do not beat. Beating adds air bubbles and makes cakes 'fluffier'

Here is my chocolate cake recipe. Just omit the baking soda and vinegar.
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons vinegar
1 cup oil
2 cups water.
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with wire wisk. Do not overbeat.
