On reality competition shows when a contestant tells the camera, "I just need to step it up." Sure, they need to do better, but they've probably been trying their hardest up until now--"step it up" isn't a very specific strategy.

"Yummo" It just really gets to me. Probably because I watched way too much of the food network at one time and Rachael Ray was on about 10 times a day. I really developed a dislike for her voice.

When an interviewer asks someone a question and the person's answer begins with "well, I mean....". This should only be used if you've already given an answer and it wasn't understood.
Drives me nuts!
