Both my husband and I use this website. Having to type up each recipe TWICE is a real pain! If you could allow copying from one page to the other, that would be exceptional!

IF you have iPhone iPad or Android enter the recipe on one account then log a serving in the food diary... then USING THE APP, go view that diary and click the wrench / spanner near the calories / in the blue bar with the meal name and copy to your own diary the nutritional info of a serving of the recipe. No it doesn't copy the recipe but you get the info as if you had taken the time to copy the recipe twice.

If you don't have one of those platforms it would still save you time to create the recipe once on one account, then create a new food item using the nutritional info to the database. Your friend / hubby etc can then search that newly shared food item and still log the nutritional info to their diary.

Recipe sharing IS a feature that MFP indicated they'd like to bring us, but no timeline for when it'll be available. One of the above two routes should let you use MFP as is until its available.
