I love this view of my intake. I am currently on a plan that requires a certain percentage of protein, fat, and carbs. The pie chart helps me QUICKLY SEE where I am for the day and week as compared to my goals. Is is possible this be added to the non mobile version you have on the web? Its incredibly valuable and it would seem logical that both programs offer the best of both apps.

I would like to 4th that, but I would ask that you would add a comprehensive nutrition chart so we can see how we progress
with each nutrient every day.

+1 This would be a great addition to the website!

+1 And I also agree with christchick7. It would be extremely useful to view the whole nutrition chart instead of having to go through each individual one while on my computer. I very much appreciate having it on the mobile version!

New user, came to rely on it on the Android app. First time using the website and I couldn't find it.

I must say the world has really changed... a few years ago it would never be that mobile apps are getting richer features than their desktop counterparts.

Heartily agreed! I have been using FatSecret, and I LOVE the pie chart! The barcode scanner isn't working on my new phone, and it DOES work on Fitness Pal, hence I'm trying it out. But I don't think I can live w/o that pie chart.

Yes please would be so helpful. Really don't understand why it's on the phone and not the main website. I honestly thought I just couldn't find it originally

I agree with this. It is immensely frustrating having to switch to my iPhone or iPad to get a proper summary of my dietary breakdown for the day/week. It's almost ridiculous it isn't available on the full website, rather only on our mobile devices..

I think caloriecount.com does this pie chart thing.

Yeah, I don't understand why it wouldn't already be in the web version. And some of us don't have internet phones.

I think all the features should be available on both platform, this and the barcode scanner (web cams after all) as they're all useful.

Although I do use the app on Android (whoop whoop) I find if I over use it, or ask for reports like the pie chart, it can eat my data quickly if I'm not careful so it being on the net version would be a great help.

I agree, specially for people like me (dinosaurs?) that don't have a smart phone or an iPad. The chart would be very helpful.

If your browser is Firefox or Chrome, there's a user script that will make a pie chart and calculate net carbs. I've been using it for months, and it's really nice to have.

From thread http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/476124-myfitnesspal-net-carb-tracker

This JS plugin rules. Please download it now: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/124645

It displays percentages and shows your net carbs with a handy piechart. Have fun!

******
Remember this script REQUIRES the following columns: Fat, Protein, Carbs, Fiber!
Install:
Chrome: Just click install up there ------^ and then click continue down there v---------
Firefox: Install Greasemonkey, then click install.

******

ETA: It may work on Internet Explorer, too. I haven't tried it yet.
