So I was reading another thread and everyone was posting these amazing pictures of their lunches, etc. It made me feel sad because this is what my lunch looked like today (and yes, to top things off, I burned it):

i guess if we're talking about failed meals, the fact that i ate cake and melted ice cream for lunch recently is about as fail as it gets as far as dieting is concerned, haha. it sure was tasty though! ;D

I would, but my lunch gone wrong today was my coworker accidentally throwing it out.

My boyfriend's mom made us baked chicken breast and vegetable antipasti because we just moved and our new kitchen isn't set up. We didn't finish all of it, so I put the leftovers in a little plastic container to take to work. Well, my coworker had some fruit for her daily muesli in a similar container, and when she saw my lunch, she thought it was her fruit gone really bad and threw it out. Today is the day the cleaning lady comes in the morning, so by we realized what happened, it was already completely gone. sad

haha...love the burned potato! You can't even tell what it was. Also, scrambled eggs always look bland and sad, don't they? Eggs are one of my go-to's for dinner if I had too many calories during the day. Cake and ice cream really makes me giggle too...we all have bad days. It looks delicious. We have a mom of one of the girls here at work that sends us cupcakes all the time. Her frosting is heavenly! I always make room for it in my plan even if I have to skip breakfast or eat smaller meals the rest of the day. I would kill for some ice cream with hot fudge and peanut butter right now.

THANKS FOR SHARING!

Don't have any pics quite yet (it's hibernating in the office fridge at the moment), but I was running late this morning, so all I have is a sad little turkey wrap type-thing. A couple pieces of turkey lunch meat thrown into a wheat tortilla with a lettuce leaf, topped with two little balls of mustard because the bottle's basically empty. Lame.

Oh, and a sugar free Jell-o cup that has been sitting in my fridge since May. I guess I'll find out if Jell-o expires....

I think I could have gone all day without seeing that chocolate cake!

My diet food disaster came about three weeks ago when I found a recipe for diet pancakes...wheat flour, egg whites and nonfat greek yogurt...the middle would never set, it burned a bit, and what parts did cook tasted like cardboard.

Well it wasn't homemade or anything and it was my cheat day so i wanted a pop tart.. it started on fire in my toaster and my toaster then burst into flames and caught my apron on fire.

i guess i really didn't need that poptart after all.
