It would be really nice if we could copy meals to a different day and meal. For those of us who eat last nights dinner again for lunch.

You already can can't you? Using the Quick Tools link under each meal?
Hmm, well I suppose you can copy the whole meal to a different day but then you would have to change each item individually to a different meal (dinner to lunch).

This is already possible. Go to the day and then the meal you want to copy and click Quick Tools > Copy to Date.

you CAN copy from one days meal slot to another days identical meal slot, then you have to edit each line item to move them to the meal you want. Or you can click quick tools > remember meal and use the remembered meal in whatever slot you want to.
You can also change your display options to that dinner items are available on your lunch list (actually either lunch or ALL MEALS) but if you're using recent and sorted by default your dinner items should be near the top of the list (unless you log every spice etc separately)

Just save the meal and name it and then add it as much as you like.

Or just one item in your meal so you don't have to scroll through all the old crap to find what you had a day before!! :))
Great post!

I just did this for yesterday's dinner that I took to lunch today:
1. Go to yesterdays's meal. Click the tool on the top right of it, and click "remember meal" 2. Name it (something like "homemade chicken" or similar) 3. Go to today's diary, click add, select lunch & then your saved meal is under the "my foods" tab. 4. You're all set! |
