TOPIC: PhysicL symptoms of eating disorders.

Hi,

I'm body dysmorphic and get physical symptoms when I feel I've eaten too much/the wrong thing. For example I feel like my legs are stretching so get sharp pains down them. Just wondering if anyone else's ed manifests this way and what you do to cope/stop the feelings from happening...

My apologies for the spelling in the title too, tried to change it but it had already posted!

Ok, I'm obviously a unique case. Either that or people don't want to talk about their eds...

I've had lots of pains from my ED... Sharp, dull, burning.. While moving or just sitting/standing. You know how to get rid of them; your ED just doesn't want you to. ;)

Are you sure these pains in your legs are from your eatting disorder I get sharp aching pains down my legs from having endometreosis, you should probably see a doctor and try and find out what is causing the pain, best of luck :)

I can get rid of them by not eating, but that's not an option! Have been to see doctors numerous times, they refer me to counselling that never happens.

Funkyspunky87, how do you deal with yours?

I'm definately sure, it's whenever I feel too full or that I've eaten something my brain considers massively high in fat and kcals. I don't get it any other time and it's not all down my legs, just my thighs. Feels like my skin is stretching.

Oh well... That's not actually what I was referring to! :P Recovery is how you stop the aches and pains and the physical AND mental symptoms. You don't manage or deal with; you attack and fight back! Get healthy. That's what I'm shooting for.
