i want to start eating different calories each day and would love to see an option to enter in the amount of calories you want to eat monday-friday. so much better than having it written on a bit of paper!

it would be so much easier then :)

This would be great too! especially considering there are a good amount of people who practice intermittant fasting and a lot of people taking up the 5:2 diet now

This is exactly what I would like too. Would be good to not only be able to choose the daily amount, but also have 'calorie cycling' option. Please consider this, I think a lot of people would use it! Thanks heaps happy

I would like this too smile

Yes! I have at least one 'indulgence' day a week, usually Sunday, and while I know it's OK and I'm accounting for everything, it still stings seeing my calories in the red for the day. And I think on lower-intake days, I'd be more determined to stick with it, knowing that the next day will be higher-intake and I can enjoy a snack guilt-free :) Would just be a nice and simple additional option!

I agree as well as I do the zig zig diet.

Absolutely!! Came on here to post same comment - the site is a great tool for us all and has many advantages over previous sites I have used. However, many of us will eat/train on a carb/calorie cycle but the settings do not allow this.

Would be great is I could set my calories to be (example) 1500 on Mon, Tue, Wed then 2500 on Thur before going back to 3 days of 1500.

Any chance this is a possibility??

Yes please! Seeing days in the red is pretty disheartening so to have the option of calorie cycling would be great.

This is something I'd definately use!

I'm getting started into a routine of calorie/carb cycling, and would love to be able to use my fitness pal to monitor/aid me doing so. Would be helpful to be able to input that you want to do a cycle, what your calories, carbs, protein + fat is set for high days and low days and then choose your pattern for doing so, with m.f.p filtering this information accross. For example, I'd be looking at having a pattern of 2 low/1 high/2 low/2 high cycled. At the minute I'm going to have to work it out separately, but it would be really handy to have it all programmed on the app, and as some people here are saying, it can be a bit disheartening seeing the red calorie excess, even when you know it should be allowed on "cheat day"

I would love this!

I think this is a great suggestion. I know some people calorie cycle, and it would help!

Via (one or more of) the app there is a weekly summary or report available but it's not on the website at this time anyway.

It would be great that if you eat less on one day that the calories left over are added to the next day....Same as if you go over the cals are taken away....

One member created a spreadsheet that does this but it it would be great is this was incorporated into MFP....
