I used to drink whey protein powder, I now want a vegan protein powder. The hemp and rice protein powder I have found are usually only about 9 grams of protein for 100 calories. The whey used to be 25 grams of protein. I am not asking for the best as far as quality, organic, etc, just the most protein. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance :)

All I can say is that garden of life raw tastes like doody.
Best protein is going to be soy powder, sadly. If you don't do soy, the next one is hemp. I've only seen them as high as 50% protein, so.. dunno. :( Life is hard for a veg trying to get their protein in! Edited to add Ooh wait, look at this one. 22g for 130 cals. Not bad at all. Reviews are pretty damn good too. Maybe try that one? http://www.amazon.com/Lifetime-Basics-Protein-Vanilla-18-6-Ounces/dp/B003O1TRZ6/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1344503263&sr=1-1

Weird! I was just looking this up myself and was considering making a post. Now I don't have to!
I've been looking at this, but really only because it's 100% hemp and it's quite cheap (and i'm poor haha) This has 14g per 30g scoop. And you're supposed to have like 2 a day. So, 28g. But I'm having the same problem as you, 28g just doesn't seem like enough http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-local/frameset/detail/663212_Pulsin__Hemp_Protein_Powder_250g.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shop&utm_campaign=feed&gclid=CJTxk_qU2rECFQ0htAod1DYA8A Also when made into a shake you could always put some dried seaweed in the blender (hopefully you won't taste it if it's all blended up) I've no experience with this myself, but just a thought i've been having too.

yeah i picked the soy protein as it seems to have the highest protein/ calorie.
i use pulsin soy which is 27g of protein / 100 calories (it tasted really gross though as its not flavoured, but if u mix it with stuff its ok.)

I use this in the UK, can you get similar in the States? Pea protein powder, zero cholesterol, 90% protein (18g in a 20g scoop) - http://www.bodyactive-online.co.uk/Shopping/pdnutrisport-vegan90.asp?pPartner=3

Pea Protein is great. Olympian labs has a chocolate and vanilla that both taste great and have tons of protein with 130 cals or less.
