Help? I'm new - but have made comments/asked questions - but can't seem to figure out how to keep track of how/when people reply.... short of scrolling through and re-clicking from my home page to see if there is a comment. is there a "notification" button or some way of knowing that someone answered and/or added to the conversation? Used SparkPeople for awhile - so am "Trained" in that site --- fumbling through here....but LOVE it!!!

so much agree w/the notification button.

facebook users and like that feature. having a notification is better and more effective than scrolling thru and trying to remember who i comment one and who responds back

If you post something on your wall-update, finish your food diary, ect. then that will send you an email if you have it set up that way. Other than that like my commenting on this here, the only way to know is to click the topic (I usually do it from my page) and looking is the only way to get updates

If someone post on your wall- or your post, if you have it set up it will notify you through email. Or pop up on your smart phone.

If your trying to keep up with a message thread. The only way to really keep up with it is by *bumping* it meaning you read a thread that you want to really read and digest later, or say you post in a thread replying to someone, or start a new thread yourself... anyways however you reply into a thread at the top of the community thread (right above this message) is 6 tabs. The tab named "MY TOPICS" is where you will find all the treads you have replied to. Its really the only way of keeping up with it, bc it will NOT notify you every time someone responds in that thread... you kinda wish it did until you realize how many notifications that could be.. and thus-ly very annoying. Lol

Hope this helps.

Not only my topics for threads you've posted in but OP I believe there was a "9" under your profile picture, that's a link to all 9 threads you've posted in... or rather to your post in those thread which you can then click on and get taken to the thread in question.

If it's just something you want to read later and don't have anything to really contribute you could bookmark the thread on your computer / mobile device instead of bumping the thread... bookmarking is an advantage in that you control it, you tell it where to put the bookmarks, you decide how long to keep it, you can view it whenever you want unless perhaps the thread itself got deleted... and when you're done with it you can delete the bookmark. Bumping in a thread can result in the same thread being bumped 3 years later and even though you haven't taken part in it in that time someone can bring it back to the top of your my topics list.
