I use the iPhone app a lot, and use the barcode scanner to scan in certain foods. However, it would be great if the barcode scanner was usable for the sake of entering new recipes.

Or if that's not possible, I would like to scan all of the ingredients to my "dinner" for example, then on the website, under the quick tools you could have a "Create recipe" option that will create a recipe based on all of the ingredients you have listed for dinner.

Also, one other thing - can you please make it more simple to change the quantities of an ingredient in a recipe without the need for removing and re-adding that ingredient?

The bar code scanner is available for recipes. It works the same way whether adding an item to your diary, or adding an ingredient to your recipe.

On iPhone, you can change the quantity or serving size of a recipe ingredient by simply tapping that ingredient.
