TOPIC: Three days & my fitbit screen goes blank!!

I've had my fitbit all of three days, pressed my button to stop the stopwatch. Then I pressed the button again to check my stats and nothing happened. So I pressed it again and got nothing. Since I charged it full this morning, I didn't think it could be dead. But I put it on the base station anyway. Sure enough, all my stats and data is showing and it's saying "medium charge". But I have no display...just a blank black fitbit. This is so frustrating. I did a search and have seen that others have had this issue as well. I did email them on their website. I'm just venting I guess. I've been relying on it already. Now I'll have nothing for a while again. Great.

You might try resetting the FitBit. If it's simply acting "wonky," and not a hardware issue, that might solve your problem. In order to do that, you put it on the charging base and then press and hold the reset button (with a paperclip through the little hole) to reset it. You might give that a try.

I have the same issue going on. Had my new Fitbit for 1 week and it just died yesterday. Have tried resetting it a couple of times but to no avail. Have e-mailed the wonderful people at Fitbit, I know they will be able to help as they always have in the past.

Send them an e-mail they are great at getting back to people.

Will let you know what happens with mine. Let me know how you do.

It happened to my twice already so I am on my 3rd Fitbit now. They replaced them for free within a week. Great customer service. Now I wrap my fitbit in clingwrap when I go to workout so it does not get wet in sweat.

i've read fitbit customer service is great, so, I' would just wait for their responsesmile

Just wanted to update you guys. I emailed them. They had me run through a few things that didn't help. They're sending me a new one. I'm impressed with their customer service so far!
