I posted on the forum and got a private response from a Beachbody trainer offering to help 'motivate' me. SHe didn't answer any of my questions or concerns, just wanted me to join her group. She denied she was selling anything, but why the private message then? Why not just post on the forum?

Is this against the terms of use?

Just wondering, Lotus

Sounds like they were careful not to overtly break any rules. I've heard similar stories where the coach would message a large number of people. If they continue, report it to staff, and let them investigate.

It is against the rules to sell things. Many people private message you and eventually try to sell you body by vi, a useless soy drink, or something of that nature :P

Because they're not allowed to post / advertise on the forum.

she denied that's what she was doing....oh well.

thanks, i thought it was against the rules - glad to get clarity on that.

You thought it was against the rules for her to invite you to a group?
