Hopefully, this hasn't already been mentioned or isn't something that is coming in the next release.

I think it would be great if there was a copy button in the recipe section. I have several recipes that I use and, for some of them, the base recipe is the same. There is just a small change to certain key ingredients. It would be helpful if I could just copy a recipe that already in my recipe section, edit a few ingredients and save it under a new name.

Hi, I came here to suggest the same thing. I've made some recipes that alter by just an ingredient or 2, and it would be convenient to clone a previous recipe.

Thanks,

Yes, ditto. Would like to be able to change amount of 1 or more items in a recipe and also copy that recipe to new named recipe if necessary.

I vote for this suggestion as well! Make a copy of one of your existing recipes, make a few alterations, save it with a new name. Would save a lot of time.

I agree as well.

Would it possible to add a copy button and upon pressing it pops up a box that says, "Would you like to use the ingredients in this recipe to create a new recipe?" Populate the new recipe with a blank name just as a new recipe would be created but with the previous recipes ingredients. The user can then add/delete items and name the new recipe as needed.

Adding my vote on this. Jha1223 took the words right out of my mouth, and explained the necessary functionality very well.

I hopped on looking for this as, this morning, I decided to add blueberries to a family recipe we've used for whole wheat Belgian waffles. It's only a dozen or so ingredients, but rather a pain to add them all in again just to add one more and change the number of servings made.

This would also be pretty great when finding a recipe submitted by others, if you want to remove or substitute ingredients. It should really be fairly easy to implement.

Please add a copy function! It would make this so much easier to use with a copy recipe function.
