How about a printable shopping list function? I think it would be a good idea if i could look back on my week's food choices and pick the best and add them to a shopping list I could print to take to the store. Seems like users preparing their shopping lists while on your site would be an attractive feature for potential advertisers.

I have a very cool shopping list system that works well for us. I have created an excel document that has one worksheet with dinner options on it for the entire week (M-Sun including leftover meal days - works out to work for about 2 weeks that way). Then what i have done is made the next worksheet the shopping list. I have added every item from the menu/recipe that I have chosen as well as the other items that are weekly staples (fruit, snacks etc.) When it is time to grocery shop, I choose a week ( I currently have about 13 weeks worth of menus and shopping lists), go to the shopping list and shade anything we don't need (spices etc.). My hubby can then take the list and get exactly what I need!

thought I would share something that has worked well for me! Cuts down on wasted food as well!

I know you can go to your "Reports" and look back as far as 90+ days at your nutrition, progress, etc....try doing that and making a shopping list from it. It may be the ticket!

Good luck!

I agree, and while I am thankful for all the functions we have and bet the people who make this site are overworked, also think it's be great to be able to keep a list of all the items in my pantry and their nutritional info.
