For those unlinking and relinking, if you back-check your diary you may find out that you are losing credit from your FitBit retroactively for previous days.
No one from MFP seems to give a hoot, which really makes me question whether they are the right syncing site for my FitBit. I'd really love to be able to concentrate on calories in and calories out, not have to deal with a broken site. As a newb, I do not know if this is the norm. If it is, I'd love suggestions for an alternative to MFP.

Today is my first day, and I'm plugged in and nothing is happening. So am assuming I am having having the same issues as all of you. How do you unlink and relink?

Well, I just checked and mine hasn't synced with MFP since 7/16. I've unlinked/relinked, checked the service manager, checked for updated software.......nothing...........I'm thinking if this isn't fixed soon, I may just be a fitbit client and use all they offer there. It's crazy cuz it throws EVERYTHING off when you're not syncing.
This is me very frustrated~!! Something needs to happen soon....and the sad part is there's not even an acknowledgement of a problem on here. That's at least expected even if they don't have a solution as yet. |

i unlinked and relinked and now my meals from today are all counted double on the fitbit site, completely throwing off my calories in/calories out calculations. :(

Experiencing the same problems already stated. Fitbit and MFP need to step it up and get these problems resolved. It is absurd to have to wait and wait for them to sync. Hey Fitbit, get with it!

Hello,
My apologies for any issues going on with Fitbit and MyFitnessPal. We are actively investigating what the cause may be. I will keep you updated as soon as we have any more information. In the meantime I would recommend unlinking and re-linking your Fitbit with MyFitnessPal. You can do this by clicking the TOOLS tab and select "Fitbit Ultra Tracker". You will see a green button that reads "Unlink Fitbit now" click here and your Fitbit will be unlinked. To relink, click the TOOLS tab again and select "Fitbit Ultra Tracker". This time the green button will say "Connect a Fitbit Now", click this and then click "allow" to authorize the Fitbit, MyFitnessPal sync. I look forward to hearing if this has help resolve the issue, if not, please know we are looking into the cause. Cheers, Scott MyFitnessPal Staff |

Hi,
Just an update. We have been in touch with Fitbit and appears they were having some sync issues on their end. It should all be resolved now or within the next few hours. Thank you for your patience and for alerting us to an issue. Cheers, Scott MyFitnessPal Staff |

Got this off the FitBit site and it worked for me: (and by me - I mean I got it from another MFP member who is a FitBit expert!
)
Everything's re-enabled on our end. So if it's not syncing, now try to unplug and replug the base station and reset the Fitbit by placing it on the base station and press the button on the bottom with a pen tip or paper clip. It will display "Fitbit <version>" when it resets, and then it should sync. If not, send an Email to support@fitbit.com. http://www.fitbit.com/forums/topic/4KTZ2J9SLMK7M/1
