MFP is perfect, except I would love a widget for my Android phone, maybe even a ticker on my phone for more motivation, stating what pounds I've lost or calories I've burned.
I do love this app so much.
Thank you, guys, for all your hard work!!
It's fun losing weight with MFP!

I agree! I would love to see a widget for Android phones - my suggestion would be the same screen you see at the top of the app that shows your calorie intake/output/remaining for the day. I would love to be able to see that right on my home screen. The ticker isn't a bad idea either. smile

Bumping this topic. I just downloaded the app and joined. Most other calorie counter/weightloss apps have android widgets. I was suprised to find this one doesn't. But I think I like the interface of this app so will stay with it for now. Please let us know when we will have a widget.

A widget would be great. How about a add-free paid version also.

Bump :) A widget would be awesome! Even if it was just "Calories Remaining" to start...

MFP really needs an Android widget that displays calories remaining on the MFP icon.

I've downloaded other (non-weight loss) apps that are not nearly as complex as MFP, and they have widgets (such as a 3rd party app to search craigslist). It wouldn't seem that it would be very difficult.

Please consider raising the priority on the widget effort. Thank you.
