I created a ticker at Tickerfactory.com to challenge myself to walk a specific distance for the month of August. I have noticed that there is nowhere to add this to my profile so I wanted to add it to my blog instead, but every time I copy the code (html for blogs) it don't work.... all I see is the code not the ticker. I have also tried the other codes they provide for different websites just in case & none of them will work either. Has anyone used these tickers? Is it possible to put them in a blog on here?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Are you sure you are copying over the HTML code? Once you copy it over, you need to click "update" and then "save", are you taking these steps?

If you want to PM me the code for the ticker, I can try to get it to post then let you know how. It is possible, i'll have to double check, that these will not work on the blog. I'll let you know.

Pretty sure the ability to add links from other sites was disabled around the same time groups came in. We were getting half page flashing signatures and advertising

its not like a normal pic here on MFP. you dont follow the same rules. forget the HTML code etc. Just right click and copy the ticker "pic" off the website and then paste right into your blog it will show up and update from there. hope this helps!

I don't think this will work as an active ticker, though. It would just be a static image.
