TOPIC: Sort by most confirmations when searching for food...

Hi -- just as a suggestion, when you are searching for a new food and it comes up with the results, it now lets you sort those results by name or relevance (if memory serves?), but I'd like to be able to sort by number of nutritional info confirmations. It seems to only make sense that if you don't have the packaging for the food right in front of you, and you want the most accurate selection, this might be the best way to go....thoughts? Thanks! smile

this is a great idea too! of maybe have a category of confirmed by mfp and a non-mfp-confirmed category...

Keep in mind that once any information touched, such as adding a missing number, the confirmation count goes back to zero.

I would take completeness of the nutritional informaiton in mind as sort as well.
Generally if someone has taken the time to fill out all or most of the nutrients the basic information will be correct.

Search for "skippy peanut butter" and see what comes up. So many dups ...
Someone who actually reviewed and checked proposed additions
and changes makes sense to me but there is a cost to that of course.
