im fairly ignorant when it comes to such things, but the iPad app and the droid app don't allow me to see community postings. Am I doing something wrong? All I can manage to see are the daily postings of any friends (few at the moment).

Apps are "meant to compliment" the site, so there are some features they have that the site doesn't... those apps have a "complete" nutritional picture in that on the home page in them you can see "ALL" 17 nutrients that can be tracked when creating a food in MFP... on the computer you're limited to 5 optional columns
Computer has forum access, apps don't.
Apps have a pie-chart and usable reports... computer... doesn't..

If you really want to see the forums you can use the browser on your phone and login to the website instead of the app, not sure how usable it would be since it's likely not optimized for mobile use that way.
