When trying to add cereal All-Bran, I get" xicara" as as serving size! What is that? I want cups/ounces and such.
How do I set the right serving sizes?
Samsung tablet. Android

haven't seen that particular "serving type" before but you'll find "that" across many foods, it's a largely user supplied database, and as users we can only enter one measurement type (validly) when we create a food.
So you'll find one entry for a food with cups, one with ounces, grams, plates, large, small, bar, piece, portion, yield from 1lb and so on. As long as you can find a food with the correct "measurement type" for what you wish to use you can log... say your result has 1 cup serving size... but you only consumed a half cup... well to log that you tell the system you had
0.5 servings of 1 cup (decimal equivalent of the portion you consumed) that logs the half cup to your diary

I said "one measurement type (validly) earlier because you'll find some food entries have in the food name 2 serving types, such as the pizza I logged 2 or 3 days ago... it says 1 slice (1/6) pizza in the "serving size" field... so when I log that I have 3 slices it says 3 slices BUT the problem is it still says (1/6) pizza because the "number of servings" only gets applied to the first number value in serving sizes... happens too if someone logs a bowl of cereal.... 1/2 cup (51 grams)... if you log that you had 1.5 cups it'll still say (51 grams) as the second part of the food description even though you've now had 153....
