TOPIC: No Workout + Carbs = Serious Hunger/Cravings ?

July 14, 2012 16:53
I notice that everytime I go to stay with my mother for a break, and therefore break my usual routine with food and working out, I end up feeling constantly starving and craving more and more carbs. I was told it is because when I workout everyday as I do, I am not as aware of my body's signals ( I am quite light for my height) and that this is some sort of catchup thing, but I am wondering if it is dietary. At home, I eat mostly high protein, lots of vegetables and greek yoghurt, rice cakes, but no pasta, bread, sauces, potatoes etc. Are some people just more prone to be badly affected by carbohydrates or something as they rarely fill me up unless in large quantities, and seem to only trigger extreme hunger? Yet my mother can eat a normal meal, with carbs and be full, as can my bf.
