I would like to suggest adding an incline option to the cardiovascular section of logging your exercises, I run and jog on a treadmill with the incline set up to 3.5 to 6.0 and the treadmill shows that I burn more calories than what MFP shows I burned because it takes the incline into account.

When i log my cardiovascular into MFP it almost cuts the calories I burned in half.

Increase the pace you log from MFP, you can experiment until you find a pace that allows nearly the same calories as you're trying to log.
That's how I do it... I can manage a max incline 3mph walk on the treadmill, but I can't do the 7mph pace for the same length of time which is about what it took to get the burn to "match" due to incline settings.

Get a heart rate monitor and track your own burn
