I really like the way the food logs are set up but there is one thing that truly bothers me and I wish you would change it. It has to due with the amounts of food. There are just two options most of the time. A too little or too much!
For example, raw fruit. While things like serving (whatever the heck that means!) and cup are fine. Where are 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup? Why can't you make selections for single fruit, such as 1 Raspberry or Strawberry and give me the option of determining how many I actually consumed. I usually have to opt for the "way over the top" as it seems more honest then opting for the "far less than" selection; however, both really can skew the total figures by the end of the day.
Don't get me wrong. What you have is easy to use and very useful, but it would be even more so if the individual could have more control over reporting the amounts consumed.
Another thing that I would appreciate is being able to delete a food entry for the meals. Sometimes, one makes an error in the amounts or exactly how much was consumed, or simple chooses to eat more of the same after the entry. It would be nice to be able to correct such things but if there is a way to delete these, I haven't figured it out.

If a serving size is a cup and you eat is a quarter cup or half a cup all you have to do is put in .25 or .5 of a serving.
If 1 strawberry is an option that could be inaccurate because the size of strawberries differs.

When people add foods to the database they likely base it on what a package or some information on the internet has said for a serving size.
You can change the amount of the serving size you've had compared to what is listed to be more accurate (as the post above mine says as well).
Learning how to measure your servings is part of the journey of becoming a better eater.

Hi Jeremy, You actually can change the amount after the fact by clicking on the name of the item in your diary. A little box should pop up and you can edit the amount. Also, to delete an item, when you are looking at your diary, there should be a red circle with a minus sign in it to the right of each item. You can click on that to remove the item.
Hope this helps. I

On the website at least when you're at food > food diary
you can click on any food item you have entered and that will bring up the "edit window" where you can change the quantity of the servings, the serving sizes (within the restrictions of the food you picked) and which meal to log it under.
For the rest, pick the serving size that matches what type of serving you had... if it says 1 cup, as the other poster indicated you use the decimal equivalent of the portion you had
1/2 cup = 0.5 servings of 1 cup
1/4 cup = 0.25 servings of 1 cup
3/4 cup = 0.75 servings of 1 cup
1/3 cup = 0.333 servings of 1 cup
2/3 cup = 0.667 servings of 1 cup and so on
If the serving is listed as 1/2 cup and you had a "full" cup you log 2 servings of 1/2 cup

The values aare changed in the receipe but when I click on the receipe in the column it is the same as it was with the old values.

I get frustrated because some of the amounts of food are in different measurements. Some are cups, Some in ounces, and others in grams. It would be helpful to have a tool or help in measuring where you log in foods.
