Hey fitness folks! I'm new to fitnesspal and I am determined to loose this weight. I've previously been on WW but fell off the wagon and when I was ready go to back on the wagon I could not afford WW so my Mom told me about fitnesspal. This is my second day and I have given myself a week to get acquainted with how things work around here. Good luck to all!

Lots of great info here. I had plateued and even though the topic is hotly debated here, found that I was under-eating. Go figure. Search the threads, figure out your numbers, and use the food database to plan and track your meals. You'll do great.

Welcome! I've tried WW in the past but I prefer this site over WW and best of all it free! Feel free to add me if you would like.

Welcome to MFP, I too think it is much better than WW (having done both as well). The key is figuring out your calorie needs and how to use the MFP system, and then to track everything you eat and start moving your body.
I'm happy to help however I can if you need a friend here. Greg
