How accurate is myfitnesspal regarding your daily nutritional needs .. I know I'm following the right amount of calories, but is your daily vitamins and protein that you "need" to eat accurate? I use this website as a guideline daily so I want to be sure ... I've googled a lot but I'm curious what you all have to say!

I think MFP is great, but it's still just a tool with a set of guidelines about calories, macros etc.
Whether they are appropriate for you is a personal decision. If you want to be sure, it would be wise to ask your doctor or a nutritionist about specific goals that would suit your body. For me - I've lost weight and got healthier eating the calories MFP recommends (including exercise cals) and using the default macro settings (although I don't agonise over the macros etc). So, it has worked well for me. |

Thanks for your reply! I thought the same as well and I've lost 6lbs so far so I suppose it's working. I just want to know that I'm eating well.
