Bmi calc doesn't take into account lean body mass.

It doesn't take into account different body frame sizes either (I guess that would go along with lean body mass...).

exactly.... Me at 5ft 9in and 205 pounds it says I'm obese. Its just that my Lean body mass is 180...

I thought that was how all BMI Calculators worked? I've never seen one that asked for anything other then height and weight.

Hmm, I just looked into other BMI calcs and you are correct. I guess my issue is with BMI in general, I think the website should switch to a " body fat percentage" calc.

What is your suggestion, exactly? This website didn't invent BMI. It's a standard calculation.

Im saying that BMI is flawed, body fat percentage is a much more useful number.

That's a statement. Is your suggestion to remove the BMI tool from the site?

yes, remove the BMI calc and use a body fat percentage calc.
