I would like to be able to view my friends' food diaries. Is this option available and I just can't figure it out? I think that is an imortant aspect of dieting together!

I can see my friends food diaries.

I'm pretty sure you can't if they have set them to be private. You'll probably have to ask them to make their food diaries "friends only" (from "private")

Everyone has a few choices for their food diary:

1. Private (I believe this is the default)
2. Viewable by Friends
3. Viewable with a password
4. Public

Even though you think it's an important aspect of dieting together, not everyone shares that sentiment. People have a variety of reasons for not sharing their diary. You could ask your friends to open theirs, but don't be offended if they refuse.

A bit of advice...if you do see some horrible eating habits on your friends' dairy please message them. Do not make any replies that are public. This will ensure that no one is hurt.

If you like looking at diaries (as do i) choose friends who share theirs. I add everyone for the most part but I am more prone to add people with open diaries because that is my preference and it helps me with my food

I do know that some people don't want their diary visible. I do keep mine open so that my friends can view it if they want to.

I agree it does give good ideas. I've seen some things listed on my friends diaries that sound really good and I gotta try it.
