Any chance there will ever be an API we can use?

QUOTE: API? Application Programming Interface (i.e. the thing that lets third parties exchange data with an originating platform, so namely for building apps). Pretty much any "unofficial" app you see is using one of these. And, yeah, I would also like to know.

Yes please! I'm stuck using ShapeUpClub because it integrates with RunKeeper's platform, and it's amazing having all that data just amalgamate in a single place.
Alternately, if you felt like building an integration with RunKeeper, which has done a solid job making itself the de facto health platform for mobile apps (and soon my Pebble watch!) I would love you long time.

+1 add me to the list of ppl who'd like an API. I may have to go back to fatsecret.com even though I like this interface better. I need daily average over a month for my calorie intake. Even if MFP doesn't show it natively I'd be willing to get that info with an API if you exposed one.

Amen - I would love, at the very least, a data export feature (if there is one and I am missing it, please clue me in).
