You may not have the latest version of our Android app installed. An earlier version had an issue whereby if you changed your password or username on the online site, and were logged in to the app at the time, the app would not successfully remember the new password.
Your best bet is to uninstall and reinstall the app. This should also update you to the latest version (2.3.1.006 in Google Play, 2.3.017 in Amazon App Store) Here's what you need to do to safely uninstall and reinstall the app: - First, you need to try to sync the app to make sure you data has been backed up. Open the app and login. then tap the "Menu" key and choose "More". At the top of the more page, if it says "All local changes synced", then your data has been safely backed up to our website. If it doesn't, tap on that row then tap the "Sync Now" button to try to get the app to sync to the web. Make sure that your phone is connected to the internet when you are trying to sync. If you are not able to get the app to completely sync, then unfortunately, when you uninstall the app you will lose any changes that you have not synced. - Next, remove the app by closing the app, then going to Settings, then Applications, then Manage Applications. Find the MyFitnessPal app and tap on it, then tap the Uninstall button. - Once the app has been uninstalled, open Google Play (formerly the Android Market) or the Amazon App Store and search for "myfitnesspal", then reinstall the app. - Finally, once the app has been reinstalled, open the app and login using the same username and login you had been using previously. All of the data for your account will be synced from our website back to your phone. Please note that our very latest version is not yet available in the Amazon store, but we have submitted it pending approval. If you are using the Amazon App Store to download apps, please keep your eyes out for the update in the coming days. |

Great, now you just need to:
- Make a favorite foods tab. Putting them into a meal is not the same thing. - Make it so random food that I didn't eat doesn't show on my recent food list. - Allow me to turn off the option that limits recent foods to just those eaten for a specific meal. - Grab the weight variable that is passed through with the fitbit API that you have already leveraged. Reason being that I sync fitbit with my Withings scale, so it already has my proper weight. With that being said, automatically check-in my new weight. |

Turning off the option limiting recent foods to just those for a meal already exists.
Website food > food diary > pick a meal on the "add food to (meal selected) page there is a search box and RIGHT below it "or add favorites for (meal selected) click that (meal selected) and change to the only other option "all meals" Android / iPad / iPhone http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/75-can-i-see-my-most-used-items-across-all-of-my-meals-not-just-the-meal-i-am-adding-a-food-to Blackberry http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/120-can-i-see-my-most-used-items-across-all-of-my-meals-not-just-the-meal-i-am-adding-a-food-to Windows Phone http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/212-can-i-see-my-frequent-items-across-all-of-my-meals-not-just-the-meal-i-am-adding-a-food-to

Can't uninstall the application. When I press the uninstall button it comes up with a "why do you want to remove this app q", I answer the question but does nothing afterwards.

What kind of device is this happening on? I have never heard of this before, but I would be more then happy to figure out how to fix it. I look forward to hearing from you. Go into your Android device settings, select Applications, and then I believe it is Manage Applications. Choose the Myfitnesspal app, then clear the cache and data. That worked for me when I had the same problem.

Thanks guys. It just seemed to work when I had got my signal back after the huge O2 random signal breakdown. It was just before the signal loss that I was having problems, something to do with that??? Anyway it's fixed, thanks again.
