Hey everyone-- productive day at the mall. Got Faith a lovely pair of silver sandals, some sparkly thingies here and there-- a clip for her hair-- some earrings, and a handbag for tomorrow's banquet. We took Boo with us and took in a pizza while there-- nice time giggling with my girls.

David's here-- in a funk-- not sure what's up. He's very sore from the gym, and I'm not sure if that's what has him down, or something else. Should be an interesting evening.

Need to scoot--

Update-- seems he was just exhausted-- didn't sleep last night-- but a cup of coffee and giggling with his sisters (and mama) seems to have revived him.

Grateful.

Glad to hear it!

In more good news, Gretchen is getting sprung from the hospital right now, and she's looking awfully booby!

I got in my classroom today and started cleaning out. WHAT A MESS. It's going to take a good long while. The custodians had everything out of the room and stuffed into what little room was left in the closet. I double checked with the principal as to when they were doing the floors and I'm last on the list so I have time. They might have a kitten when they see the state of the room. I really should have taken a picture of the closet before I started. I couldn't step one foot into it.

Jill - Gretchen looks great, so glad things are looking up for her.

Marla - Can't wait to see pics of Faith in her new stuff all dressed up. Glad David is in better spirits also.

Jill - Sounds like you have your work cut out for you, but I am getting the sense you are enjoying it wink . I have heard of having a cow but a kitten I am not familiar with. Not quite a cow but still something to notice?

So just a small public service announcement..If you are planning to watch "The Adjustment Bureau" with Matt Damon...It is the most boring movie ever. But if you want a couple hours of great sleep? Put it in the DVD and snuggle in on the couch, you won't be disappointed. Night all...BTW the mockingbird must have the night off tonight smile

That's funny. We watched The Adjustment Bureau last weekend, and I loved it! It could be that it doesn't take much to entertain me. tongue

flowerforyou morning team, last day with students ,next day just testing which is stressful but calm. As always in ED land the week was a bomb. Anyhow I don't think I have to move my class which is a godsend. Here at home Grandkids are with me. My son is coming down to trim all my trees and hedges. big job. I am going to put the mansion on the market in august. The whole family 12 will be here for a week in July to say goodbye......too big but I have to say I will grieve when it is gone. It is everyones home. My sister and I moved lots as married women ......our family home here in Corning was always here....it will be hard to sell it. gotta run. Richie

Morning All! I'm glad I got my run in early as it looks to be a hot day today. Beautiful Morning....great to be alive! I don't know why but today I am appreciating all the little things in life. Life is too short and you never know when the big guy will call your number.

Graduation parties on tap for the weekend! It is odd not be planning on of our own for Zach but he doesn't want one and I am willing to oblige the graduate.

Hugs to you Richie. Glad the grandkids are with you!heart

Enjoy your day everyone!flowerforyou

Hi Team,

As you have all probably guessed, the paper work is signed and I am now a single woman. Well I agreed to stay married by law until Oct 1 so he could have health insurance w/o paying an arm and leg for Cobra.

Gotta tell ya, that was a biggie for me to give in to. Then I thought of all the years we were together. What finally made me say ok, was remembering how I wanted so badly to have a natural childbirth with the 2nd, after a csection with the first, and how he helped me through that.

Also how he cried when the babies were born, and when we dropped each of them off at college or their new apartements. He says he has never cried until he gave up his dog, but I know differently.

So these things, lot's of prayer, your holding me up, along with my other friends, I allowed this.

What I can say about this procedure is, in the end other than this one thing, it was the exact offer I made him last year! Never ceases to amaze me how people think lawyers made it easier. They just made us poorer.

I am not saying my lawyer did not help, she and her staff were wonderful, but it was more the legal paper work, the agreement and such, as we both knew what we wanted from the beginning.

So the papers were signed. I think of it like when you get married. You may not turn in the marriage certificate until a week or 2 later given the honeymoon (or in one case NEVER......they forgottongue made things easier in the end though)

Anyway, you are married as of that moment in time you say "I do" so I feel I am divorced when we said "I don't". 7:30 pm June 7th.

Here is to a new life filled with joy, love and happiness. May he have the same drinker

Well, well, well. Today's a new day, right? That's about all I have to say for myself.

Kati – I hope you get a lot accomplished at work today. If you're the only one there, I bet you will!

Shuntae – Enjoy the pool!

Donna – Have fun at all the graduation parties. It wouldn't surprise me if Mitch doesn't want a big bash next year, but it also wouldn't surprise me if he does!

Hugs to you too, Richie. I imagine that will be very emotional.

Tanya – I don't know how laundry reproduces either, but I swear it does!

Hello to Diana, Lori, Marla, Kaylynne, Jeanne, and anyone else I'm forgetting!

I sure hope the housing market in our area turns around in the next year. I was pooping around on Zillow last night, and not only are comparable homes valued higher where we want to move, but they seem to be selling at their assessed values. Where we are now, there are so many short sales and foreclosures to compete with that houses like ours are selling at way below their assessed values. After what Elise has been through, I am not eager to rent our house out, but that may be something we have to consider. Ugh. I'd better keep buying those lottery tickets…

I'm totally amusing myself by house hunting online. Doesn't this one sound like fun?

I'd still rather have this one:

http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/3219-300th-Ave-SE-Fall-City-WA-98024/48691744_zpid/

Legendary B2B Ranch - four 20 acre parcels of privacy and manicured perfection. Enjoy the finest in building materials and craftsmanship, incl copper roof, natural stone and massive timber framing. Main house w 7,500 sf of grand great room living and four en-suite bedrooms. The guest house w additional 2,200 sf/2 bed/2 ba and an extra 1,000 sf of recreation sf. Parking for 7+; in ground pool; equestrian facility; vintage red barn; outdoor pavilion; streams; ponds and spectacular views.

It's been on the market 389 days now, so maybe they'd take $5 million for it?
