I'm curious about how often the website gets updated with new features and bug fixes.

The FAQ says:
"We are planning on adding additional support for metric measurements throughout the site and the apps. For example, you will be able to set your weight loss goals in kg instead of lbs and view exercise speeds in km/hour instead of mph. We're not sure when these enhancements will be ready, but they are definitely on our to-do list."

That's been there for some time. Staff also sometimes respond to suggestions and technical questions by saying things are being considered for updates to the website.

I don't want to appear ungrateful or critical. I'm very happy with what is being done on a free website. Thanks for all you guys do. I'm merely curious about the time that it takes for known issues to get resolved. When was the website interface last updated?

I don't recall the calendar date for it but since the beginning of the year they've updated the "Help" menu found in the same line as your username and the logout button. Previously you could go in there, type a question forget to pick a platform and hit search and you'd have to retype the question.. now you have to pick your platform before you have access to typing your question or you'll see a subset of FAQs for that platform. In addition when you are viewing the response you can click "share this answer" and get the URL straight to that response to post in threads.

In just the last 3-4 weeks they changed the "my home > check in" page at the bottom it used to read "change measurements " "edit previous entries" and "change" was what you clicked on to get at adding a new measurement type... now... it says
"Track Additional Measurements" "edit previous entries" MUCH more revealing of what clicking that link does.

Search on the forums doesn't seem quite as broken as it used to ie searching "too much protein" would come up with a 7 or 8 month old thread for the first page of results, while an advanced search in google came up with 1500 threads on it in the last 2 weeks.

Those are the ones I can think of right off the bat, there've been others that I can't quite put my finger on.

But I do agree, the "metric" implementation is taking a while, reports have been basically broken on the website since I joined where the first day of the report shows as a 0 or a negative value for the amount of exercise calories you had that day regardless of food consumption, but if you picked 7 day report the first day'd at least be 0, when viewed on the 30 day what "was" a 0 day is suddenly tracking its food as long as it's not the first day or two on reports... and the scale on graphs... mine has a varaition of I think 180 lbs from bottom range and top range... I have only had a 40 lb weight difference over the year, so 180 lb range makes the loss look like nothing on that 180lb range of values.

Thanks for your detailed reply. I didn't know those changes had happened. It's good to know.

I wasn't aware that platform selection had changed but it's definitely better now. I used to forget it and have to retype, as you say.

I wasn't aware of the 'Share this answer' feature - I'll use it. Although I'd prefer the answer on a new page with a normal URL rather than a popup with further interaction to get the URL.

I had stopped using the inbuilt search because it was poor but I may try it again.
