Just a suggestion, can you add a dietary fiber category in tracking food? Some of us track our carbs and when you eat carbs that contain dietary fiber, they actually offset some of the carbs eaten. For example, Fiber One Pancakes have 37 carbs, but have 5 dietary fiber carbs, so your net carbs are actually 32. Thanks.

You can actually set it so that it shows your fiber count. I think you just need to personalize it to show what you want it to show. I know I have mine set to show my fiber intake for the day.

You can track whatever you like, you just have to change the settings. Go to the FOOD tab, then click on SETTINGS there you can choose the nutrients you want to track and even change the title of BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINER to whatever you'd like. You can also choose the order in which you want your nutrients to appear.

For example since I'm tracking carbs that's the first thing I have. I have Carbs, Fiber (I have them side by side so I can easily do the net carbs math), protein, fat, and sodium. I eat low carb, high fat so all of these things are important to me.

myfitnesspal doesn't let you track "dietary fiber", from what I can see. My mom is Diabetic and would love to use this app, but can't since it doesn't track this. So for clarification, it does track "fiber", but not "dietary fiber" which are two diff things. Not sure why that's not a trackable category...

How are fiber and dietary fiber two different things? I've never been aware of this. I've only seen Fiber listed on nutrition labels with an occassional breakdown of soluble and insoluble.

It would be nice if they had a "Net carb" tab. I can subtract easily enough, but the big red number that shows up under carbs (I limit mine to about 100 a day) is annoying when I am still on target once the fiber is subtracted.
