TOPIC: Logging Interval Training

How do I go about logging HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in my exercise diary??
I've looked for things like 'P90X', 'HIIT', 'Interval Training', etc, but I can't seem to find anything that fits what I want?!?
(I'm starting the Insanity workouts tomorrow, and I want to be able to log them)

Currently there is no way to log interval training- we will look to add this feature for a future update!

Can you make this sooner rather than later? tongue I am very into interval training - maxing yourself out in the shortest time possible... It works and burns more FAT than long distance biking or running. And when I can keep up with it, am always more successful in getting fit than extended timed cardio. Keeping track of calories is a great way to watch what you eat, but I find the exercise database rather constrictive. It is currently hard to record activities, even daily activities like housework, yard work, gardening, etc. I can add these all in on my own and that is fine (I wish there was a separate database for miscellaneous activities, other than cardio and strength), but I would LOVE for a database just for intervals!
Thank you! And Thank you for this wonderful site! I have tried a few others and this is by far my favorite, excluding the exercise database.

I added it myself. HIIT may be in the database now that I added it. I just did the general amount of calories a person my size would burn in that period of time doing it. Fitnessblender.com has great HITT workouts and it tells you on average the calories burned.

Adding to the database for exercises adds to your personal database of exercises. MFP requires the formula to be able to plug in variables such as sex, height, weight to give an appropriate calorie burn, so user contributed things don`t get added to the general database.

With the P90X, insanity etc mentioned that combines cardio and strength training I`d log it as circuit training which IS available or custom exercise with your burn estimate from a HRM
