I think it would be an Awesome idea to have a way to group your friends in your friends list....For example for me - I would have one for Shorties like me, One for Eat More 2 Weigh Less group, Chalean Extreme Friends, Etc....I have a horrible memory and have quite a few friends and sometimes I can't remember why we became friends or what we had in common to become friends and I would love to be able to keep track this way so I can bring up things we have in common like asking someone in the EM2WL group that is also my friend about the metabolism reset instead of asking someone who is only eating 1200 or less b/c I was thinking that was what we had in common....Make sense??? And so I could ask my 'Short' friends a question about finding petite clothes...I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have this option on here b/c there are plenty of people on here with way more friends than I do and it would kind of keep you organized rather than trying to remember....Just a thought!! I hope this can be done...SOON!! :)

ETA: Something else I just thought of if this is too much to ask for right now but even a place to put in notes about our friends in the list section and we could just add notes that we know about them...Like - In EM2WL group or 5'2" 163lbs trying to lose 30lbs....Stuff like that so we can keep track of what we have in common or things we would like to ask this person, etc....Thanks again!! :)

I think this would be helpful too. Also, maybe if there was some way to tell if your friends were members of groups. Like I am a member of the "not that heavy girls" "5x5 stronglifts for women" and "eat more to weigh less" so I think it gives people a lot of info about me.

I like this idea! How to we get it into play??

The only thing I know of is to get as many people as possible to reply on this to show the moderators that this is really something that a whole lot of us would like to have added to the site....So, just tell all of your friends to leave a reply on here if this is something that they would like to have as well - Kind of like a petition...The more people that sign it the better chance it has of getting done....So, spread the word with me!!! Thanks. :)

I agree with this idea. Keeps everyone straight in your mind. We are all here with a common goal and have gotten to know each other pretty well. I like it.

I agree to this idea also as well. I think they should do this . as well as allow us to change our username as we grow instead of limiting it to one time.

Love this idea - especially if we can create our own friend-groups. The ability to create a group of MFPers that live close, or group those that are actually IRL friends or something like that.
