Is it safe to take raspberry ketone while breast feeding?

The real question is, "is it safe to waste money on scientifically unsubstantiated supplements, instead of say...saving for that baby's college fund?"

Yikes. O_o

I'm nursing too and I won't do anything other than eat healthier and take my vitamins.... I won't risk it. :)

Is it safe to take raspberry ketone ever? I can't believe you'd ask for this advice on a message board. Any joker could say "Yeah, it's safe".

First, I hope you're consulting your doctor/pediatrician on this.

Next, to my knowledge Raspberry Ketone has only been shown effective at reducing weight GAIN in RODENTS and there haven't been any successful/reliable human trials that actually show an effect on weight loss. In short, you're wasting your money.

I'd suggest not taking them at all.

I wouldnt do it. I checked into raspberry ketones before I started on MFP. I am on anti depressants and was told definitely not to take the ketones. My advice - check with your dr. and not dr.oz.

If I have learned anything while being on this site- it's NEVER MENTION RASPBERRY KETONES!!! Haha! I asked question about them one time and got some really nasty people with some really nasty answers. Just try not to take the nasty comments personally...that's the best advice I can give :-P
