Is there any way to get decimals to be applied to your foods? For example Natures Path Organic - Flax Plus Pumpkin Flax Granola has 1.6 grams of Saturated Fat per serving but MFP rounds it up to 2g per serving, making my numbers off by about 20% just with this example. Seems odd that they don't have decimals listed for an app designed to help with precision. Thanks for your help.

Yeh I agree. New to myfitnesspal, previously used to write down everything and calculate it (time consuming).
I really can't believe they don't offer decimals on adding up macronutrient content. It needs sorting out . |

Ditto.
So far I'm showing 8 grams of fat for the day, when I had one serving of 5 grams, one serving of 1.5 grams and one serving of .5 grams. It should be showing 7. It's not too big a deal for me because I'm more concerned with carbs than with fat. But adding a single decimal place shouldn't be that hard. I also noticed that it stores the nutritional information about the food with the .5 increment in the database. I thought the first two were wrong, went to edit them and saw the right numbers. It just rounds them when you add them to your diary. Is there a suggestion box?

If 0.4g of something is bothering you that much, you are probably taking this too seriously. Everything about nutrition facts are at best an estimate.

A decimal would allow a greater level of precision and reduce the margin of error. In my example my number was off 20% with one item, that is a large difference and could have some impact on eating habits. Clearly other people are have this issue as well, and the data is there in the nutrition info I'd just like it to be used.
Edit: It's not just the 0.4g in this instance , it's the cumulative affect errors would have in my data.

@Jorra
It's not about 0.4 g of Something that bothers me. The problem is that it may become 4 g or even 40 g error when you have many of Somethings. |

Bump for order, detail, and reducing margin of error.
Please do it, there are at least 6 threads about this. QUOTE: I really can't believe they don't offer decimals on adding up macronutrient content. It needs sorting out .
