Apparently, You can't. You have go to something like photobucket, upload them there and then use the code they gave you and post them here. I just figured it out for the first time.

You can't "post" a picture to MFP from your computer, you "really" don't want the traffic of the forums coming to your personal computer to load your image, your computer would have to be on 24/7 with an active internet connection... yeah some folks leave theirs on... I don't... too much work in IT :)

To post pictures you need to get it hosted somewhere like photobucket

For the one who has posted a picture but it says "this image / video was moved" when I quoted your post I can see in the filename for the URL a %20 which means you have a space in the filename for the picture or the folder... for MFP make sure you don't have ANY spaces in the filename or folders containing the pictures you want to share...
%20 isn't the same as " " (the space between the quotes) much like IMG isn't img and MFP doesn't handle IMG tags it only uses img
it also doesn't handle the spaces properly, with %20 it's looking for a different filename is why it appears the picture has been moved.

you need someURL indicating .jpg or .gif at the end of it so it knows what the picture is you want to display
you just need the http://www.imagehost.com/imagepath not all the other embed src etc.

Upload to an image hosting site like Photobucket or Tinypic.

Copy the the entire IMG code and paste it here, and then make the IMG leading and ending tags lowercase. So img /img instead of IMG /IMG

Make your IMG tags lowercase. You want img /img instead of IMG /IMG

use the images tags: [img ] URL HERE [/ img]

1. insert the direct URL of the image in place of "URL HERE". If you use a photo hosting site such as Photobucket or Picasa or Flickr, it will give you the direct URL (address). Photobucket is the easiest.

2. Keep everything else exaclty the same EXCEPT remove all the spaces. The tags MUST be lower case.

It should look like this...

You can't have a %20 in your URL. You have to replace it with a space.
