First I have to compliment your team; this is an amazing tool. The database always has the food I am looking for. It is really helping me to stay on track, be focused on my fitness goal, and it is working, I am losing weight and getting heatheir.
One sugestion, and I am sure you have heard it before, but I would love to be able to search my recent foods, this would add to my consistency, as I generally eat the same foods over the course of a month.
Thanks for this app, I am allready recomending to everyone I know.

100 % agree
In fact, the general search should recent first, maybe with a different highlight. Today the Recent and Most Used are not in alphabetic order and searching through them is a pain. |

I would like to see this as well. Once I've logged my own foods for a while, I tend to eat many of the same meals over and over and it'd be handy to search these first before looking in the larger database.

I would also love a highlight (or even a check box to disable offline database) on recent foods searched that i've already recorded. This would speed up searching astronomically. It's really the only beef I have with the app. My slender wife dislikes waiting for me to record that 'side' dish that I ate sometime last month, but weeding through all of the erroneous, or 'lite/generic/organic/etc' versions just to find the exact match just makes my food get cold.

This is an older thread, but I'd like to put in a STRONG vote for searching or filtering for the Recent Foods List. I have 4 pages, like others here, and scrolling through looking for a specific item is pretty poor. I've also noticed some glitches in the database manager, but I assume your dev team is aware of them and will eventually tighten it up. Otherwise a fabulous program... thanks for making it available!
