Hey there, I've reached my goal weight and am looking for more friends who are focused on overall improving fitness and athleticism more so than losing weight. Not that people still losing weight aren't trying to achieve those too, but I find it helps to have friends at the same point in the 'journey' as myself! Thanks :)

Haha, thanks! :) I wonder if a lot of people stop using MFP once they reach their goals...

I'm not at my goal weight yet...but I am less than a pound away! I don't plan on quitting MFP when I hit it. To me my goal weight is stage 1 of this journey, stage 2 is reducing my body fat percentage & stage 3 is maintaining the weight & lifestyle

I reached my goal weight a month ago, and I've been struggling with maintaining my good habits ever since.
I've regularly been going way over on my calories, I've stopped eating as healthfully, and I've been eating way more sugar and unhealthy carbs, and fewer veggies. I think working toward that scale goal motivated me to work hard, and eating healthy really affected my life in a lot of positive ways (I had more energy to exercise, I was sleeping better, I was more productive at work, and I was happier). I've been maintaining my goal weight so far, but I've been feeling pretty depressed lately. I'm going to start RI30 on June 1, since I feel like 30DS was really good for me, and maybe if I up my calorie goal by a couple hundred, then I won't feel like I'm failing and then giving up on a daily basis. (I'm still not 100% sure that my maintenance calories are actually what I need on a daily basis; I think they might be too low.) P.S. Congrats Invidia! You look great!

Sorry, I feel like I killed this thread! I didn't mean to make it sound like such a bummer to have reached my goal weight!

I'm about a pound away from my current goal weight. I've actually been maintaining for awhile, joined MFP when I decided I wanted to lose another 5lbs. My trainer is encouraging me not to worry about the scale anymore but just focus on my training goals. So that is what I'm trying to do. Would be great to have some friends in a similar situaiton.

But I would love to have some friends who are at GW! I will definitely need all the support I can get as I make this transition...and I give great support too

My "goal" is 120, but I'm 123 and currently starting heavy lifting. So, screw goal weight.
