So all you carb experts out there(lol) is that a lot for breakfast? I honestly didn't pay much attention at times, as I do always try to stay under daily. Most times I succeed but sometimes I am like, wow that seems like a lot for one meal and suddenly I just seem to notice it more.
Yes, my diary is closed but my breakfast is this,
1/2 C. oatmeal (measured dry)
1 single size plain greek yogurt
About 2oz blueberries
1 prune
1/4 C. Almond Milk
4oz light, reduced sugar orange juice.
Also 2 tbsp sugar free creamer in my coffee (2 cups so far, 1 tbsp in each cup)
Thanks!

i had a trainer tell me once that 25g of carb per meal limit ..sometimes thats too low for me with all the exercise i do. if im going to ramp up carbs i do it in the am .. i try hard to balance it out through the day.. usually what has been working for me is more carbs at meals and less with the snacks . if a bigger breakfast is what makes you happy then go for it..looks like its healthy . i dont drink juice at all. id rather eat a piece of frut and usually save fruit for snacks ..at least if u have that much carbs at breakfast you can work it off during the course of the day

I have been up since a bit after 5 and have a very long hard day of physical activity ahead of me. I will have to leave here after a bit anyways. I guess I figure on these days I can have a little more carbs. I have shifted some of my carbs in breakfasts lately to more protein though. I would go back and forth through out the week, but this is the first day this week I had oatmeal. Some days I ate it 3-4 times a week, each morning.

I was a constant breakfast skipper when I was heavier, sometimes skipping lunch too. Of course by late afternoon or dinner time I was starving and would eat bad foods and lots of them. Since my journey I started to listen to my body, I eat breakfast every single morning. I wake up with a growling stomach, or if it's not immediately within waking up, usually about 30-45 minutes. I agree, I am like wow, I get to eat more and have still lost weight (I'm in maintain, but tweaking things a bit)
So I guess I just listen to my body. I feel better when I do the lighter meals (most being 250-350 give or take) and then at least 2 snacks between. Most days, when able, it's usually breakfast (early) then mid-morning snack if hungry, lunch, sometimes an afternoon snack, dinner, and if I was not hungry for an afternoon snack but wanting something after dinner, I eat a snack then. Sometimes I have eaten 3 snacks but I really try to keep it all low. I've made some slips and bad choices at times of course.
