bumping to see if this will be one of the new features added since MFP has been in upgrade mode.
November 28, 2013 3:31 PM
Hey, firstly, if anyone from MFP admins reading this, thanks to MFP crew for changing a few things I suggested before. This thread suggests a very good change, those percentages are very inconvenient, im sure it wouldnt be hard to make it possible to set your macros numbers in numbers (grams). Thank you

Agreed.. Those who know the exact numbers of our macros it should be an easy fix also have the option to set different goals each day. Normally my macros is different on workout days and off days... This is why I'm currently using My Macros+ and consult my fitness pals to search for foods

Hey thanks for pointing me at MyMacros+! I may not need MFP anymore since they seem uninterested in fixing this.

Bumping for the hopes of this someday being fixed.

The aforementioned link is a great workaround in the meantime. http://karoshiethos.com/2013/08/13/javascript-bookmarklet-for-enhanced-macro-goals-in-myfitnesspal/

I've created a chrome extension that allows manual entry of macro percentages (instead of being limited to the 5% increments).

It's called "myfitnesspal UI Hacks"

Let's not clutter this thread with support messages for my hackery, so if you have problems with this chrome extension, please see this page: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/damonbrent/view/myfitnesspal-ui-hacks-617102

No problem. I'd been using the chrome developer tools to tweak the form before submitting...then my laziness got the better of me :-)

Bumping again. This is so frustrating!!
April 9, 2014 9:22 AM
You have to log in, through the internet. To customize them. Although, I am completely thrown that I have to get my % right, yet it doesn't budge when I do.
April 11, 2014 12:42 PM
Bumping this again, at this point I am willing to switch to any other tracker that has this feature.
