My own posts are not showing up on the news feed all the time even though they were timestamped earlier than some of the posts showing up on the feed--can you please look into this? Thank you for all that you do!

What's strange on my news feed is that people that I had deleted are still showing up on my feed but not as friends, I keep trying to hide them but its not working.

Same thing happens to me and my friends. I complete entries and it takes many days for them to show up ...if at all.

Hi Folks.
The deleted friends issue is one we're aware of and close to solving. But the other issues in this thread are less clear to me. Can those of you experiencing delays (or failure) of posts give some details? Are these manually entered status updates? Or are they auto-generated updates for completing diary days or performing cardio? Are you working only on the website, or is there an app involved? Steve, I am experiencing the missing newsfeed items on the iPhone app. I noticed it missing for auto generated news items about a friend's workout. It did not seem to be happening a few days ago on the iPhone app.
Also, I am seeing other news feed items about exercise so it is not consistent. I only see the exercise item if I go to her individual page.

Late (LATE) last night we swapped out our news feed server for a brand new one with upgrades and fixes in place.
We believe that all news feed strangeness should now be at an end. However, there may still be a few issues and we definitely want to resolve them. If you're experiencing any misbehavior on your news feeds, will you first: Empty your browser's cache: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache Then, let us know if issues persist? Thanks! My news news feed is still not working. This is both on my PC & android phone app. It posted that I responded to some's post earlier, but no automatic feed. I put my weight in today and nothing was automatically posted. Please help. Thank you!

my news feed is not showing my exercise log. it will show other things I do just not exercise. i have my settings set properly. please help to fix.

Tried to clear my browser but didn't change anything. All other feeds except exercise are showing. I use both my home and office computer and same issue with both. please fix!

If you don't mind I'm going to post a test exercise, which I'll then delete, to see if I can replicate the behavior. Is that OK with you? |

It seems possible that due to this news feed swap out, the FIRST exercise you posted today never made it to the news feed, because the servers were having issues. Because each second, third, or fourth exercise for the day simply updates the first exercise post, it's possible you're not seeing anything because the system is trying to update the original post and not finding it. Will you do me a favor and post an exercise tomorrow, and see if it's all resolved? If not, please let us know and we'll dig deeper. Let me know if that seems reasonable? My exercise entries aren't showing up on my news feed. I checked the settings and it was fine. My food and exercise entries are done via iPhone app. The only auto update to the newsfeed that shows is completion of the day.

Hi Steve,
Can you please help me. With my iphone app, exercise often does not show up in the news feed until after 7pm. For example if I exercise at 2pm, enter it etc it will not show in feed. If after 7pm, I go back in and save it, it then shows up? Strange!! Also, in terms of completing the days entry, it will not show up until after 7pm, even if I have competed it at 6pm. Please note, it has not done this today! But 9 out of 10 times it just won't work! Have I done something wrong? I'm not sure why this is, any suggestions would be great. Many Thanks :) |

I'm finding that topics I have started show up on the newsfeed but subsequent replies by me do not. I've re-checked my automatic news feed settings several times so that's not it. If you could look into this, I'd appreciate it. And I "tested" the new news feed this morning by posting a topic in a group that I moderate, it showed on the news feed but when I replied to it, it did not. So, even with the new news feed, I'm experiencing the same problem. Thanks. |

Some of it may be their "anti-spam" measures.
Completing your food diary after midnight for the time-zone you have set will NOT post to your wall, you can't close Tuesday's food diary on Wednesday and see it post to your wall. I'd assume it's the same for posting to threads, one post to say "hey this person is talking in this thread if you care to check it out" but not posting 20 times if you're posting in the same thread responding to posts as it's already stated you're "active" in that thread.

Thanks, Pandorian. That could be but my news feed was working fine up until a few days ago. And other people in this group post multiple times on their logs (threads) and I see it on the news feed. But I never thought of spam.
