TOPIC: Is there a way to manually set the calories per day?

I haven't used this site in 2 years. Anyway, my doctor recommended that I be on a 1500 calorie diet and when I logged in it said a 1330 calorie diet. I finally found where I could change my goal from 2 pounds a week to 1 pound and 1 1/2 pounds but both of those were two many calories (at 1950 calories and 1750 calories).

Click on "My Home." Then click on "Goals." Scroll down and click on "Change Goals." Click on the radio button that says "Custom." There you will have the option to set your calories to whatever you choose.

When you're changing your calories, you might want to give a look at what "makes up" those calories, i.e. Carbs, Protein, Fat. You can also change those.
For instance, MHP chose a 1200 calorie diet for me also but it contained 165g of carbs/day, a figure I thought way too high. Ck'd with R.D. & Trainer who advised dropping the carbs down to 150g/day & they also recommended eating the majority of carbs early in the day. Not sure if that type info interests you but thought I'd pass it along.
Also been learning a lot about BMR, etc & had to reset my calories/day goal as 1200 calories/day was so much lower than my BMR. Gosh, I had no idea.
Good luck to you!

Thank you! I couldn't have told you where I had even found changing the pound per day.

Thanks for that info as well.
